Help Us Shape the 2025 New Farmer U!
Calling all Beginning Farmers!!
NFU is focused on financial management and farm business topics for mid-beginning farmers- there's a lot to dive into there!
We put together this survey to get a sense of what farmers from around Indiana would like to see at NFU- from formats, topics, and speakers.

Marbleseed hosts incredible events for farmers across the Midwest, and we couldn't be more honored that they asked PIFF to co-host one of their best programs: New Farmer U.
We look forward to bringing this program to you in Fall 2025! There's still lots to figure out, but here's what we know:
New Farmer U is a two-day / overnight program for beginning farmers, with lots of farmer-to-farmer learning PLUS time set aside for sharing meals, good conversation, and campfires.
We're hoping for 50-75 participants. The cost will be $100, and include lodging and meals. We will have 10 full scholarships set aside.
Although New Farmer U is part of Marbleseed's efforts, in true collaborative style, they help provide support and outreach, but they leave the organizing to us. Marbleseed has asked PIFF to set the agenda to match what beginning farmers in Indiana need. Expect lots of farmer-to-farmer time, zero talking heads, and lots of small group breakouts.
